Richard Jander represents U.S. Commercial Appraisals' work in the South Central United States. Richard, a Project Manager with the firm, has been appraising real estate since May of 2002. Starting with single-family residences, he moved into commercial appraisal work in early 2005. Richard's background in research, inspections, and valuations spans a variety of property types, including residential, retail, industrial, and recreational properties, as well as office buildings, agricultural land, and ranch properties.

Richard has also developed market valuations of real estate for use in financial reporting, asset management, acquisition, financing, and legal proceedings. A graduate (Bachelor of Science) of Texas A&M University, Richard's post-academic education spans more than 200 hours of specialized appraisal classes.

When not at the office, Richard usually can be found soaking up the Texas hill country, be it enjoying a sunset at the Oasis, picking peaches in Fredericksburg, fishing for stripers (striped bass) on Lake LBJ, or floating along the Comal River.
